The recipe for this scotch combines single malt and a lighter grain whiskey, which provides it with a smooth and warming flavour at the first hit that has been enjoyed for generations for many years. Bushmills Original has been matured in both sherry and bourbon casks to which the drink owes its vanilla and fruit taste. Best enjoyed with some ice or as part of the “Bushmills Highball” cocktail.
